  • Rob Hufgart

Rob Hufgart began his career in 1997 as a Registered Massage Therapist graduating from Kikkawa College in Toronto. The same year, he founded Integrative Therapeutics, a rehabilitative Massage Therapy and Manual Osteopathic Therapy clinic in Cambridge, Ontario.

Rob completed the five-year program in Osteopathy at the Canadian College of Osteopathy in 2007. He went on to successfully defend his osteopathic thesis in 2009. His study investigated how the small intestine can influence the tone of the muscles of the low back.

In 1999, he took a teaching position at the Canadian College of Massage and Hydrotherapy, and in 2007 he accepted a teaching position at the Canadian College of Osteopathy. He continues to enjoy teaching with both organizations.

Rob feels very strongly that Osteopathic Therapy when applied in a way that is respectful to the individual situation and medical history of each patient can have a profound impact to a patient’s condition that may not only improve their anatomical dysfunction but also the physiology of the associated tissue and often the emotional state of the patient.
